Bio Info

Adrian Bryant is a proud graduate of Howard University and a distinguished member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. His dedication to community service began at the age of 15, with roles ranging from counselor and lifeguard to mentor, teacher, community organizer, coach, activist, and entrepreneur.

After over 20 years of experience in enterprise sales with Fortune 100 companies, he founded Adrian Bryant Media Group, LLC - a multifaceted media company aimed at promoting positive images and expressions in underserved Black and Latino communities.

Adrian's passion for elevating these communities was ignited in high school upon discovering the rich history of the African diaspora worldwide. As a high school senior, Adrian’s activism led him to an internship with the African National Congress, where he contributed to the fight against Apartheid at the United Nations in New York City.

After earning his degree, Adrian was inspired by the Million Man March’s call to action to build up communities. As a result, he co-founded the Youth Empowerment Program in 1996 to mentor teens, providing leadership and college counseling. In 2013, he co- founded the Keen Vision AAU Basketball Club, serving over 100 youth athletes, with the slogan “Life lessons through basketball.”

An esteemed presenter, Adrian engages high school students and educators with presentations that delve into the rich legacy and ongoing success of HBCUs, the expanse of Black History, and the fundamentals of Youth Development. He fosters open dialogue, encouraging full appreciation of the immense value of the knowledge of history and the role it plays in shaping the future.

Adrian’s personal and professional journey has been deeply enriched by his wife, Bernadette, an Afro-Latina educational administrator. Married for 24 years and having known each other since the early 1990s, Bernadette's insights into her Puerto Rican heritage, the diversity and complexity of Latinx world, and her expertise in Education and Special Education have significantly informed Adrian’s work, ensuring his initiatives are inclusive and reflective of diverse experiences of Black and Latino communities.
